You can customize your own Examinator for either Commercial or Personal Lines. Customization allows you to choose the category of insurance coverage and the level of difficulty for the exam questions. You can also customize for a specific industry or state-specific questions. Customization costs $250.00 per test as a one-time charge for IBA West members, $300 for non-members. Customization can be done in any of the following manners:
- A customized test can be created for just one coverage line. For example, a test can be created only with questions on Workers Compensation or Commercial General Liability
- A customized test can be created at the various levels. An individual can pick which topics they want included in the test and how many questions they choose per topic. For example, the test could include questions on BAP, CGL, and WC and no questions from the other categories.
- A customized test can be created for an individual who chooses the topics and the questions are pulled from different levels. For example: two basic questions on CGL; two intermediate questions on BAP and three advanced questions on EPLI. The tests would include fifty questions from categories chosen.
- A customized test could contain specific industry questions. For example: the test could contain intermediate questions on chosen topics and ten questions on contractors; ten questions on manufacturers; and ten questions on professional liability for attorneys
- A customized exam could be made for a specific insurance company comprising questions specifically for their program.
- A customized exam could be a combination of commercial and personal lines questions.
